I have been re-opened for a couple of weeks now. It feels great to return more fully to my practice in supporting clients with the art of Reflexology and Reiki. The magic of touch through hands on healing therapies is incredibly powerful. During this time, it is clear that going out into the world does not feel inviting or safe for everyone. This is understandable. Let us stay gentle with each other. Let us find ways to reach out, respect each others boundaries, and offer k...indness to those unable to re-integrate at the same pace as others. The effects of isolation and displacement, the experiences of worry and grief, and the very real concerns about the state of the world can evoke an overwhelm of stress and disconnection. If you are in need of healing modalities and are not able to venture out, receiving "touch" via Reiki is equally effective through distance sessions. You can stay in your own home and accept a treatment remotely. If you feel you might benefit from coming in, sessions continue to be available in person as well. Kendra Kembel Healing Arts has officially re-opened for reflexology, reiki, aromatherapy and private yoga sessions. Distance Reiki sessions will continue to be available to all, with priority to clients who prefer receiving in their own homes and/or have health conditions that require them to avoid going out in public just yet. While there are new COVID safety measures for us to follow during our time together, I am excited to facilitate a healing experience to help you reple...nish and rebalance! Hours have changed slightly. The studio will be open 9:30 am to 4:30 pm on Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursdays with occasional "add on" afternoons on Monday or Friday afternoons. In light of the recent announcement from the government of Saskatchewan declaring a state of emergency due to COVID-19, it is with a heavy heart and a sense of hope that I will discontinue my "in person" healing arts services, effective immediately. I am still available to you. I am able to book distance Reiki sessions, create and deliver aromatherapy blends (*certified in aromatherapy) and provide private or group yoga classes via Zoom. Please find time to settle yourself a...nd lean into this call for quiet and reflection. Create art, dance, dream, stay active and spend time outdoors! Listen to music. Make music and free up your voice. Connect with the loved ones that you share space with. Reach out to loved ones who may be further away with a phone call or through video chat. Foster a puppy. Take time to do something that fills you with joy Feed your sense of humour. Offer to help neighbours and elders with grocery shopping, errands and phone calls. Donate to the food bank and contribute to organizations in your community, like Carmichael outreach and the YWCA (in Regina) that are striving to support our community members with more complex and pressing needs. Send your love to our Earth, she needs our care and attention more than ever.

Hello my friends. Starting this Thursday, March 19, I will begin an 8 week, noon hour, online yoga class. Originally this class was meant to be one of my private noon hour yoga classes for the lovely folks at Justice downtown Regina. However, we have to make some changes since we can no longer meet in person. I will offer this multi-level yoga/meditation practice at noon on Thursdays from March 19 - May 14. 8 weeks, excluding April 16 - which would have been our regular ...Easter break.. perhaps a moot point now, but our original booking. I am asking for $100.80 (tax in) for this yoga session. Because this is online, you can have your family attend with you and I encourage you to make time to ground and find some calm together. Connection, movement, breath and personal growth are key factors in weathering this very strange experience together. It may seen odd that I ask for payment. This is a reflection of my partner and I both working in self-employed arenas with no access to EI. If a lesser registration fee makes these classes more accessible to you, please let me know and we can figure that out in collaboration. To all of my clients: With the current public health concerns, I feel it is important to let you all know about how I am approaching my practice. We can all sense the concern and worry in the world right now and I believe it is especially important to find a gentle approach, be kind and thoughtful and make efforts to stay calm and healthy. Let us all find ways to support our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well being during this time of uncertainty. I am continui...ng to see clients as usual. I am taking extra care to keep my space clean. I ask that if you are unwell, please reschedule your appointment and of course, I will do the same. Hygiene is key, so please wash your hands upon arrival, before your session begins. In addition to using typical cleaning products, I am also regularly smudging my home and using wild/pure crafted incense. I wish everyone peace and wellness as we all do our part to take care of ourselves and others.
