Well!! Here it is! 34! I just want to first and foremost say thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday! Your love and thoughts mean so much to me!! This year has been a crazy one for ever body, and myself not to be excluded in that. But this year has brought a lot of blessings and for that I will be forever grateful! Just want to give a shout out to @diamond__detailz for cleaning my girl up!! Such great dudes and such hard workers! They made my baby shine! They literally even cleaned inside the gas cap!! Well... another year, and another BMSL ball season! I’m SO privileged to have not only played in this league for 9 years now, but also to be able to have my company sponsor it! Tis the season for snow pads! As funny as this picture is... (I think it looks like a clown lol) which snow pad do you prefer? Rim pad or the bubble pad that’s pictured? I find pros and cons with both, but I tend to prefer the bubble pad if used correctly! The rim pad still allows you to pick out your horses feet, but can still ball up really badly with snow... although easier to get the snow out then without the rim pad. ... The bubble pad however actually pushes snow out and doesn’t allow it to ball up, but doesn’t let you pick out the hoof which can lead to thrush or things getting under the pad. I always use hoof packing underneath the bubble pad to make sure unwanted things don’t get underneath the pad and to also act as a cushion for the hard winter ground! See more

A lot of times with shoeing horses we often obsess over the front feet and forget about the back feet... but where do horses get their power from?!?! With shoeing horses, I think it is almost more important to make sure they are shod properly behind! They need to have good support, have the shoe behind the heel, and leave a little toe forward to I sure your horse does not forge! Nobody wants to hear that click, click, click while they are riding! You want to make sure when the rock back for that burst of energy to jump the jumps they have that proper support them and prevent injury!

...and that warmed up 2 degrees on my drive to Schomberg!! Today’s the day folks you bring your farrier a coffee... preferably with baileys in it! It’s the season!!

Well, another year and another BMSL season over! I was super honoured this year to be able to sponsor a team in the league I’ve played in for 8 years as well as co-captain it with the lovely Christine Jefferson !!! Way to go team!! We finished 3rd overall, but definitely first in my heart as the team was filled with a bunch of truly awesome people!
