To all our beloved guests, Today marks 10 years to the month that I opened Kenegdo Salon and Spa. It was a lifeless building that I gutted and took the first steps of turning my dreams into reality.... Right off the bat I did a crazy thing and signed a 10-year lease. I committed to experiencing all that came with owning a salon and my big dreams. Kenegdo means to help and to serve others this was our mission for each and every guest. Kenegdo taught me what hard work means. It taught me perseverance and how to push through. It taught me mistakes are invaluable, and so much more than I could ever put into words. And now this month we are excited to share that we are moving on to the next chapter a chapter that Kenegdo made possible. Monroe Salon Studios is a luxury beauty health and wellness mall where solo practitioners lease their own spaces and run their own businesses. It is a collaboration of high-end, like-minded business professionals who share in wanting to elevate the beauty industry and create business their own unique way. Kenegdo isn’t leaving but transitioning to also now help and serve business owners in their careers and success. It’s an opportunity for solo practioners in our city that didn’t exist before. An opportunity for their next step. Thank you to everyone who supported Kenegdo, to all the staff along the years, all the laughter, fun, and tears.
