I'm anxiously waiting for the opening of the Ocean Park Pizza & Steak House in Langley. The take-out I've experienced there, is fine, but we REALLY miss the the staff, the ambience and the Great Fresh Food served- with class - right t the table! Mmm-mm!

Thanksgiving weekend was fantastic! Called the annual Square Dance at the Timberline Family Thanksgiving weekend. Then, since the Giants were on. Road Trip to the Prairies, the time was incredibly relaxed. We had a terrific Thanksgiving Dinner quality buffet. However, there one thing missing was the pumpkin pie. Got the calendar available for the Square Dance Christmas Party Season now.Things are pretty terrific. Anyone following the frantic action leading up to the election? Yes, I have one thing to say about that, as well: Politics is the gentle art of getting votes from the poor and campaign funds from the rich, by promising to protect each from the other.

The coolest game on Earth! Antarctica, being the cold and isolated place it is, does not provide very much sporting opportunities. So researchers over there have created their own fun, in the form of rugby. They practice and strategize like normal rugby teams, and have an annual championship called the Ross Island Cup.... The team from New Zealand even carries over their "all blacks" tradition in normal-temperatures rugby, except they rechristen it as "ice blacks," and even the haka dance is performed. This seems to be a part of a winning formula New Zealand has won the Ross Island Cup 26 years in a row.

Lately, for some reason, I keep hearing the following comment, You Can’t Stay Young For Ever, But You Can Be Immature For All Of Your Life! Well, El Toro PooPoo to THAT comment! For me, the notion that old age is a time to dial it down and play it safe is a cop-out. For as long as I’m able, I plan to be raising heck on behalf of whatever I fervently care about. For example, as Old Guys, our Canada-Wide numbers are now large enough, we have the CLOUT to control our FEDERAL GOVERNMENT! And remember - there’s a Federal Election coming.
