Pulled this one off the other day, 4 guys, 4500 sqft with a thickened edge, 70 cubic meters. 2.5 hours to place, 5 hours finishing, we were moving lol

Well it’s been a while since I’ve posted, finished my final year of carpentry and spent a lot of time renovating the house, it’s close... pictures to come. Here’s a little set of stairs my best bud Cory with Modern Concrete Solutions and I formed and poured in two 8 hour days happy Friday everyone!

As of today we’ve laid down 19,000 sqft of slab in the last week. 17,000 of that topping a little sore and definitely tired but things are good. I hope everyone has an amazing weekend!

May need to work on my social media punctuality here’s a job Cory and I finished in November. Concrete slab removal, excavation and all the way to weeping tile, damp proofing and basement slab. May have been a small foot print but not so small of workload.

A little bit of our work over the last few weeks

Pretty decent week for us, 2500 sqft complete prep, place and finish plus a 10 flight of 4 foot wide stairs and a 3 flight of 9 foot wide. Weather is starting to change so if you’re interested in work, how’s the time. No job to big or small. Framing, rebar, ground work, concrete, we do it all. We’re currently book two weeks from now. Work life, home life, family life, a lot of stress through the last few months for sure but I definitely appreciate all these guys that come and help, and it’s awesome that they can bring their families. Work hard play hard. 7300 sqft of topping last Friday and a beautiful appreciation beach day cook off to regroup for another day of topping tomorrow.

Another socially distanced pour this week, 1400 sqft basement storage slab and 80 sqft of topping for the electrical room on the first floor. Nice little pour Wednesday and my new found socially distanced hobby with some scraps from a project. Happy and healthy weekend everyone, through these times it’s hard to be distanced when our busy lifestyles are anything but, remember 2 meters could save a life though
