I am a retired high school math and chemistry teacher of 30 years and a private tutor of 30+ years. I am patient, confident with content, flexible, and meet the expectations of the individual. If your goal is to succeed with your math and/or chemistry, please read below for more information. My Profile: Certification for teaching in Ontario since 1991 Member of Ontario College of Teachers... Teach all academic/applied grades 9-12 Qualifications include math, chemistry, science, and learning/study skills What I Offer: thorough review of previous course content learn new course content; learn an entire course assist with gaps in knowledge/skills from previous and current courses assist high school graduates entering college or university who need to learn content missed during the pandemic assist high school students who struggle with basic and abstract concepts assist students who travel due to an outside commitment and need help to learn missed concepts provide extra practice questions, challenge questions, tests, as requested. How I Offer Tutoring: In-person tutoring -- in my home or your home, backyard or suitable location for meeting Virtual tutoring using video platform -- Google Meet or Zoom Short video lessons, specific to the needs of the individual Rates & Options: $60/hour lower rates per person for 2 to 4 individuals in a session Pay-as-you-go rates Package rates for 1 month, quadmester (9 weeks), semester (5 months), or full year (10 months) -- you choose the term, arrangements made for intermittent payments If you have any questions, please email me or call me at 647-225-9610.
