Swarm #3 is now in one of my hive boxes in the Duvar bee yard. It came to me by way of the Catholic church in Tignish and the only price was getting stung 10-12 times. They are crazy bees even with my bee suit on they still managed to sting me around both eyes and in my ear canal.

It is the season for swarms if you see a swarm call Ken's Honey Bee Farm at 902-853-7089 don't spray them. I will come and take care of your problem.

So far this spring has continued to be a bit cold and wet. The weather makes it difficult to do anything with your bees but on those special days when the sun shows it's power we do make some headway in the bee yard. On a special note, we had two swarms make their way into our hives one here in Knutsford and the other in another bee yard in Duvar. It's nice when you don't have to go chasing after them but they come to you and that is very rare. Should people suspect that they might have bees on or around there property give me a call (902-853-7089) and I'll come and remove them just don't spray them. Well, that's it, for now, bee well and bee happy.
