To enrich the students school experience at out Zhang Jia Gang Foreign Language School Campus, students have the opportunity to engage in a wide range of after school activities. Our students, Gu and Sun of class 2 participated in and won awards from the "IVY Cup" International Oral English competition. The awards were presented to them by Principal Xu ... and Director Tang. IVY Cup is an annual English competition with a strong reputation. It modeled on the competitve, cooperative and innovative spirit of the IVY League in the United States. The competition is the world's top English competition.

Students Encouraged To Join Clubs School clubs offer students an opportunity to nurture their talents outside the classroom. Club activities play an important role in the mental and physical development of students. A Kent, we encourage students to pick interest in a hobby or two to contribute towards their personal growth and enrich their life experience. Students at out Zhangwai Campus have a myriad of clubs to choose from such as the Mathematics clubs , Chemistry Club, Model Car Club Art Club, Hip hop Club , Model UN Club, App Design club and so on. Students are encouraged to explore their options.

2020 Class Opening Ceremony Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, Canada Kent School freshmen for this year are kicking off their academic year at the beautify campus of Zhang Jia Gang Foreign Language School. The new semester opened with a ceremony that was headlined by key speakers including President of ACED and Canada Kent School, George Chen. Canada Kent School has partnered with Zhang Jia Gang Foreign Language School to offer Canadian quality education at the Campus to our fre...shmen students as we wait for the pandemic to pass. Regardless of not being to take their classes at our campus in Canada, the students will still take the same curriculum taught in Canada, Speakers expressed the importance of hard work and planing for one’s future to the students. Principal Xiaoming of Cambridge International Curriculum Center at Nanjing Foreign Language School encouraged the students to integrate into the environment and work towards their life goals.

International Youth Researcher Program Students Perform The Phantom of the Opera International Researcher Program students at Hangzhou No. 2 High School put on a superb performance on the Phantom of the opera on June 28th this year. Due the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the performance was both online and offline, a first. The Phantom of the Opera, one of the masterpieces of musical maser Andrew Lloyd Webber is adapted from French writer Gaston Leroy’s Gothic romance n...ovel of the same name. Students poured their heart and soul into making the show a success. The International Youth Researcher Program is a cooperation between Canada Kent School and Hangzhou No.2 High School. Mr. Ye, Principal of the International Department of Fuyang Middle School who was invited to the show and deliver a speech. He praised the excellence performance of the students and pointed out that the biggest difference between Chinese and Western education lies in the evaluation system. Western education takes a multidimensional cultivation of students’ comprehensive abilities, including physical and mental health, laying a solid foundation for learning. The music works towards that same goal, enhancing the ability of the students.

Kent Class at Jinling High School Performed The Classic Broadway Music Again In the past two years, the Kent Class at Jinling High school has produced two acclaimed musical dramas, Beauty and the Beast and The Wizard of Oz. Despite the disruptions caused COVID 19 pandemic that started last winter, while maintained our teaching throughout these hard times, the Kent Class also successfully held the annual grand musical Seussical in Nanjing. Following two month of preparat...ion and rehearsals, we were able to put on a stunning show with exquisite audio-visual effects that attracted the praise of many. The show featured an array of popular works of famed American children’s books writer Dr. Seuss, with themes of of friendship and love. The cast was made up of Kant Class students at Jinling High School. Xinyu Liu and Yitian Wang, both fresh graduates of Kent and recipients of admission offers to the university of Toronto were over joyed to take part in this year’s musical. Mr Doug, the principal director of the musical who has loved acting since he was seven. He is an experience Broadway actor and producer. He expressed to value of the experience gained by the students through participating in co-curricular activities both to their university admission prospects and their future. The leadership of Jingling High School attached great importance to success of the musical and offered insurmountable support in the form of personnel, venue as well as scheduling and logistics. ACED Education Group proved financial and material support that was vital to the success of the show.
