An abacus is more beneficial than just for calculations! Sliding the beads is great for strengthening the pincer grip & other fine motor muscles. Hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, and colour recognition also see improvements from abacus play! Our 50/50 Fundraiser is doing very well! And tickets are selling quickly! If you would like to purchase contact me or a daycare family!

Parallel Play Playing independently alongside others is known as parallel play! You will notice your child beginning to take part in parallel play between the ages of 2 - 3. Parallel Play has many benefits including :... observing how others play creating & learning boundaries practising sharing Parallel Play is a strong first step in forming relationships! As children grow and become aware of their peers (socially and emotionally) they will start to interact more directly.
