Tar and Setar Lessons in Vancouver Contact: (778)-855-4407 Alborz Rahmani began studying music at the age of 12. He Learned the radif of Persian Classical music with various masters of the tradition including Jamal Samavati, Arshad Tahmasebi, Mohammad Firouzi, and Great Maestro Hossein Alizadeh. Alborz joined the Shemshal Ensemble, founded by Hossein Hamidi in 2001, which performed several concerts throughout Iran. He also collaborated with the Sima Bina Ensemble in 2003, performing all around Europe. Alborz is the co-founder and has been a core member of the Kereshmeh Ensemble dating back to 2006, which is when he migrated to Canada.
