The February statistics are in A bit of a slow month as it is most years, but it might have been a lot busier had there been more listings on the market. De...mand still seems very strong - several homes that were priced and marketed well attracted multiple offers - but there just isn’t that much out there for buyers to choose from. At the end of February 2021 there were only 23 active listings in Yellowknife, compared to 72 a year earlier. That’s a huge drop in inventory. The past is not a perfect predictor of the future, but last year there were almost twice as many listings that came onto the market in March and April than in January and February.
