I absolutely LOVE this family! They are playful. They laugh. They wipe tears. ... They pause. They let it go. They run towards the camera. They run away from the camera. They embrace it all. They joke. They live. They are real! I love their sessions so much because they have this beautiful chaos of three young kiddos and they embrace it to the fullest. No one is trying to control the set or force the movements, they love watching their little ones be them and as a result - we get these awesome, candid moments captured during their sessions. They love connection portraits and they especially love bloopers. While it is always a goal to have everyone looking at the camera, at least for a few minutes during your portrait session, I can confidently say that those connection moments - the one's where no one has to be looking at anyone except for being in that moment with one another - those are the moments you want to frame. Those are the moments that take you back to that chaos, that time in your life when you have no time for you but a whole lifetime for your little ones. xo If you are still reading this - you're awesome!

I have the BEST clients! This family was so much fun to work with. They were full of energy, excitement, and creativity. I'd like to take a moment to credit both moms here for organizing the session and setting up this impromptu cuddle session on the log and to the girls' dad for his amazing snow tossing!... I love love love when mom says, "We want to capture us as a family, walking through the woods together". Bring on all the candid connection moments. These are my most favourite images of your gallery and I feel they really highlight your story, more so than everyone looking up and smiling at the camera. Of course, there's always a need for "looking at the camera" images too and I aim for those in your gallery too. I've included a few right here!... Rest assured, when we work together, I always aim to fill your gallery with a collection of candid and posed moments. If you prefer one over the other, we will make that happen too!
