Anyone else ever hear Les Brown speak before ? I had the opportunity to hear him in Vegas and it was a pretty great experience. Align yourself with people that you can learn from, people who want more out of life, people who are stretching and searching and seeking some higher ground in life ... #alwayslearning #levelup
Tips Tuesday We talk so much about how to start conversations at networking events.... how many of us have ever had to try to leave one? found this article this morning and thought of all of you...
It's tips Tuesday We all know as business owners that networking is soooo....necessary. We discussed networking at an event but how do we successfully network online? Here's a few things I have learned along the way.... 1. Put your best foot forward. Might seem like a no brainer but connecting with a polite greeting may be the difference between getting a response or not. 2. Find something you have in common. How do you know him/her? Do you have common interests? Friends? Do you work in the same industry? 3. Show some Make a point of giving a compliment. You might say something like; I find your work inspiring, would love to hear more about it. Or I have checked out your profile and we definitely have the same attitude when it comes to work ethic so I thought we should connect. You could also say, " it looks like you love what you do, have you ever considered doing anything else? " 4. Open the communication lines. Always offer your contact information and ask their preferred contact method. If you give your number and email you will set the tone and they will be more comfortable passing on their info. 5. Finish strong. Thank him/her for their time and let them know you have enjoyed chatting and that you look forward hearing from them soon. Now go give it a try!
's of Attraction Marketing What is attraction marketing anyways? Well, I can tell you this.. it's nothing new. ... Salespeople have been using it since the sales industry began.... We all use it...everyday. It's a way of communicating to be attractive to others. Now online and face to face may be slightly different because you don't have the same level of persuasion. However, they both still require some simple A-B-C's. Aligning your message with your target audience in an authentic way. People can spot a salesman a mile away. Share authentically about YOUR experience keep it real Never underestimated your target audience. Believe in your products, services and yourself! Again your authenticity will shine through and when people trust you they won't have a problem believing that you represent a quality product. Communicating, connecting, and consistently- that's a lot of C's By consistently, I mean regularly. Your customers will get used to your schedule whatever you set it to be. Communicate in a way that is sincere and connects with your target audience. Remember they know a sales pitch when they see one. Remember....your vibe will attract your tribe. Be the person you are hoping to attract.
We want to hear from you. Tell us about your business. It's Marketing Monday.....what are your shares this week?
