A week so far of sciatica pain and no relief or sleep. I havent had a flare up for a few years, but this one tops the others. Heating pad, cold compress, Advil, back rub and stretching exercises. Any suggestions? I may need to add a bottle of wine to this mix!

We chatted with a contractor who did some work for us at our summer RV home last week. He has created five streams of income for himself and emphasized that depending on one is not realistic. With challenging times in our economy over the past five years and the current p@ndemic, many have and are continuing to lose their primary source of income. Several brick and mortar businesses are closing down for good. We are thankful we explored the digital economy just over tw...o years ago and started our own online business. Attaining lasting happiness requires that we enjoy the journey on our way toward a destination we deem valuable. Happiness is not about making it to the peak of the mountain nor is it about climbing aimlessly around the mountain; happiness is the experience of climbing toward the peak.

Turned out to be a beautiful day! We could see snow on the mountain tops this morning in the distance. Our two trees that didnt make it through the winter are rebounding from the bottom up. Guess it was a good thing we didnt cut them down, they just need a big pruning!

Fire pit looked inviting last night, so we had a fire with our youngest daughter and her friends. We missed taking a photo of the gang!
