This week, I am looking back on the second half of 2012 and reminiscing about events and painting trips with my friends. I miss seeing my painting buddies and customers in person. These times are not only stressful for us adults. Therefore, I am happy that the children in the Unleash Your Creativity course have a lot of fun during the classes. Right after the end of the current course, I will offer another five-week course, that runs until mid-June 2021. I want to help children deal with the stress of not having their regular routines and missing the interactions with relatives and friends. Again, I offer a special family rate to help families with multiple children.

I am excited about the next Felting Experience workshop that starts next week. During the past couple of months, I have worked on many new felted pieces. It is so exciting to see how the images come to life layer by layer. If you would like to learn how to create beautiful needle felted paintings, join me for the next three Wednesday afternoons. I have kits available with all the necessary material for those who live in the Ottawa area and can pick them up. Judging by how long it takes for mail to arrive, I would not send them out at this point anymore. However, depending on your location, you might find a store that carries the felting necessities. Monday Motivation: Even though Easter was already more than a week ago, who can resist this cute bunny? My painting friends and I used the image already during our Zoom meeting. Fabulous Friday Celebration: After a week of staycation, I am back with my latest blog. It is exciting to go through my old images and remember the beautiful sites I visited while painting with my friends. Do you love cupcakes? If so, what is your favourite one? The best cupcake I ever eat was a blueberry lemon one with a light buttercream frosting. I found the recipe in a newspaper. Unfortunately, I misplaced it somewhere. Or maybe, that's a blessing in disguise. :) During my Art Cafe on Sunday, we will chat and create a cupcake completely calorie-free. During the time together, we will chat and laugh and get to know each other better. It is a playful social gathering. As an artist, I know the pleasure and energy that creating art brings. It helps me to forget everything around me, which is especially important when I am stressed or upset. Immersing myself in the artwork is my little oasis to re-energize and find tranquility. I feel so passionate about art that I want others to experience the same joy.
