Has anyone tried these? I just tried the peanut butter chocolate one (yes peanuts are a legume and depends how strict your following keto if you can have it), it was pretty good for having 5g net carbs! Whats your favorite flavor?

Sometimes you need comfort food! Making grilled cheese, subbing deli meat for bread is a delicious super low carb meal or snack. You can jazz it up by dipping it in marinara sauce, adding hot peppers and dipping in sour cream or adding bacon and tomatoe.

Yep... It's grilled cheese! I found this bakery in Toronto, the Butternut Co.,that makes keto bread, 1g net carbs per slice and it makes amazing grilled cheese. I fry some tomatoes and put sliced turkey on mine

There are a lot of new keto friendly products coming out to make life a little easier! While cauliflower rice is pretty easy to make already... It just got easier with Green Giant cauliflower rice! It's so fast and easy to make. I have to admit I tried the mashed cauliflower and was disappointed not only by how many carbs it had but the taste and texture weren't great, but love the cauliflower rice! What are some other products that make keto life easier?

Good morning fellow Ketoers! Something I want to talk about is...Halo Top ice cream. It was just released here in Canada a couple of weeks ago and.....it is pretty amazing! But...yes...a but...there are still quite a few carbs in Halo Top. If your following a 20g carbs per day, eating half a cup of Halo Top take up between 12-15g net carbs of that 20g. It's a great treat if your having cravings or on a summer day, but remember portion and planning the rest of your day for carb intake will be important to stay on track! The mint chip, birthday cake and good old vanilla are my fav so far. What are your favourite flavours?

These havarti cheese crackers are amazing and so much easier than I though they would be to make... Just put on a baking sheet at 350 for 10-15 min and you get these crunchchy full of flavor crackers to eat by them selves or dip! I also added a little pepper and pink hymilayan salt

Sorry I haven't posted inna while, I've just gone through renovations which was super hectic, but meal prep for the week helped get me through! I don't know about anyone else, but I'm tired of all of this snow!! I decided to make a strawberry spinach salad with goat cheese and it was delicious!! I didn't have any carbs today so the 10g of carbs packed in this bad boy were ok.

With the holiday season in full swing, here is an article to help keep you on track over the holidays. A couple of tricks and things to keep in mind....If I know I'm going somewhere that I know will be serving non-keto foods or have really tempting treats, I make sure I'm not hungry before I go. I will eat something while there, veggies and dip, cheese platers or whatever I can find that fits within keto. This helps resist those temptations. In this article I liked a couple o...f points, set a goal and know in your mind that you will probably indulge at some point so make sure it's what you want to indulge in and not empty snacking at a party. I also like the point that you aren't going to convert people to "the dark side", knowing that this isn't for everyone and also that everyone won't understand the keto lifestyle will help avoid those debates or lengthy explanations. So I tried something new today...dark chocolate covered pork rindes! I melted 85% dark lindt chocolate and drizzled it over pork rindes, let cool and....enjoy!!!

Today's lunch! Three hard boiled eggs, can of tuna, pickles and cheese! So yummy and filling, whole lunch was 4g of carbs, 30g of fat and 60g protein.
