Fixed rates, although subject to the same economic influences, are tied to Canadian bond yields. Similar to my own personal experience, as a mortgage broker I see over and over again where the bank only drops their rate AFTER they realize their client is shopping around. Wouldn't it be nice to have your loyalty rewarded by getting the best rates and the bes...t advice, every single time you renew? As a broker, my job is to find the absolute best mortgage PRODUCT for your situation. Rates are most commonly compared, but there are many factors involved in finding the best mortgage.
