Another job: this one required bottom frame repairs which, in the end, improved the tone in bass greatly. Complete stringing with over sized pins( the piano would not hold tune with loose pins). Hammers were also replaced as old ones were badly worn, wearing through to wood mouldings at top treble section and overall tone was very bright. The new hammers mellowed out tone nicely. Part of the reason for doing work was that customer loved the artwork on front panel...impressive. Now it looks AND sounds great.
