Very excited to be hosting an online Pow Wow Dance Workshop through Kawartha Sexual Assault Centre with Kelli Marshall and Liz Osawamick beginning next Tuesday ...April 20th 7:30pm. Pow Wow dancing is a way to connect to culture, spirit and body. It's a beautiful form of expression to heal from the injustices of residential schools and the Indian Act. Traditional teachings will be shared as well as an explanation of the commitment required to take up each dance. We will be focusing on Jingle Dress, Fancy Shawl and Traditional.
