THIS! This is exactly why I got into health and wellness. My educational background is in anthropology and gerontology. So using that lens it always made sense to me - take care of yourself and have a great 50-60+ years relatively issue free or don’t, and live with chronic issues and illnesses for over half your life. It always just made more sense to me to take care of myself first and foremost. Some people might think this is selfish and to an extent it may be. But you’re... no good to anyone if you’re not around and not you’re best self. So I challenge you to be selfish, become your best self by taking care of yourself. This doesn’t have to mean lifting heavy weights or working out 5x a week - it just means being proactive about your health and wellness and making it a priority because YOU should always be you’re number 1 priority! Trust me you are always worth it

V sweaty after a couple rounds of burpees. I was able to maintain some degree of conditioning over the winter with only at home workouts thanks to burpees! While they suck to do, they definitely work
