I wanna talk about our new technology that most new vehicles are coming out with. Did you know that if you buy a new vehicle within the next 2 years that it will have some sort of collision mitigation technology in it which usually involves a front facing camera? In which regards when we do a windshield replacment the camera will require a recalibration to put the specs of the camera back in to original specs to do the proper job when required...... Now I had a customer ask me why we have to do this. Can we just let the vehicle go the way it is without the recalibration because they don't use that feature? The answer is we cannot do that because your plate insurance requires you to have a proper functioning front facing camera to do its job of mitigating accidents.. it is a liability issue not just for my business but also the insurance company... Fortunately for our business we have a system that we can do this recalibration procedure on most vehicles on site when we do the window. No need to drive to closest dealer to do...
