Students of Grade 5 learned that there are many mathematical concepts threaded throughout the games: the idea of patterns, relationship of patterns, numbers and operations, problem solving and critical thinking, and concepts of data management and probability. Concepts of patterns and probability are seen in games like Hubbub. Data management involved many games like Throw Sticks, Bowl and Dice, and Hubbub.
