KHealth (https://www.kingstonhealth.ca/) is recruiting Module Creation Volunteers for our Interprofessional Community Health Program (ICHP). Volunteers will help build 10 online modules that introduce healthcare students to various topics required for providing comprehensive care to vulnerable populations and working effectively in interprofessional settings. Each module will provide background information on the topic, a comprehensive discussion of the topic as it relates to... interprofessional healthcare roles, and how the topic can be applied to the Kingston community. We are looking for 30-40 volunteers from medicine, nursing, OT and PT programs. Volunteers will receive authorship credit. Creating an ICHP module will also fulfill the Formal Training component of the Mini-ICHP Certificate Program. The estimated time commitment is 10-15 hours per person over several months. If interested, please complete the attached registration form and you will be contacted with more information. https://docs.google.com//1FAIpQLScRtAnDTIz7Jmhs3M/viewform

Hi everyone, This is a friendly reminder to register for the ICHP! The earlier you do so, the more time you’ll have to work towards getting that certificate. 1) Sign up by going to this link: https://tiny.cc/ICHP2020 ... 2) Wait for an email from the ICHP co-ordinators. This email will contain all you need to complete the program! Don’t know what the ICHP is? The ICHP has 2 components: (1) Learning Component: learn from guest speakers and/or modules made especially for the program. (2) Reflection Component: display what you’ve learned through the creation of an infographic or short reflection. The ICHP is customizable: Choose from a variety of modules and speaker events to attend based on your own interests. Learn at your own pace: The program runs year-long, which means you can complete the components whenever you have time. Upon the completion of the program, you’ll receive KHealth’s Intro to Community and Street Health certificate. KHealth is an interprofessional group recognized and endorsed by the Aesculapian Society, Rehabilitation Therapy Society and Nursing Science Society. In addition to providing an excellent knowledge base, it will be a great addition to your CV/Resume. For more information, please direct questions to [email protected] or visit our website, http://kingstonhealth.ca
