A while back at work I was talking about all my ideas for what to make with a coworker of mine when she came up with an idea. She said, hey, why don’t you put catnip into the octopus and make cat toys? This idea was brilliant. As well as suggesting them she got to be the first person to grab a few. She took them home the other day and it didn’t take long for one of her kitties to get ahold of them. So I would like to say thank you to her for the awesome idea! ... This is how everything started: My crochet journey started just over 2 years ago. I wanted to try something new and figured that learning to crochet might be a cool idea. First I started off small since I didn't know what I was doing. Mt first project was a baby blanket. It didn't turn out half bad at all. After that point I got busy with life and didn't really think about picking up that crochet hook much. That was until March of this year. Lockdown made relearning everythin...g easy. I wasn't having to worry about work, or making plans with friends. This was the perfect time to start again. I once again started with a blanket but this time I did something a little different. This time it was going to be a much bigger learning curve. That one also didn't turn out the way that I had wanted but hey, practice makes perfect and this blanket was perfect to me. Blanket #2 is queen sized and made from fuzzy, warm yarn making it the best movie watching blanket ever, it makes it super hard to stay awake! After completing this project I figured that maybe I needed to branch out from blankets. I started with key chains, then stuffed animals and many other things. Through all this I had the support of my parents and I'm glad I do because without them I wouldn't be trying to make the things that I do. Now I have the support of everyone who has decided to join me here on this page. I only ever thought of making this small business after my mom started hers selling crystals 3 Little Gems. It made me realize that maybe both of our passions can help out others and make people happy. Now here I am, doing what I love and making some pretty cool things. This is the start to something pretty amazing for me and I'm hoping that it can be for you guys as well. In the next little bit I will be posting some projects that I have made that if you would like to purchase can or you could even request something if there is something you would like made.
