We just opened for the season on Canada Day and we are loving meeting all of our happy campers! Holly and Dave dropped in last night on their anniversary road trip and were delighted to stay in Lewy's teepee! Holly's review: "We stayed here last night Chris made us feel like Family. My husband fell in love with this place. We were looking for a motel but ended up at Kicking Mule. We didn't have food cause it was late she found a couple of burgers to cook on the BBQ. I can't ...wait to come back next time and stay in the Covered Wagon or the Blacksmith's Shop. Thanks again Chris, you were a God send." *Shared with permission

We are devastated to hear the tragic news of the passing of Constable Marc Hovingh. Our love and support goes out to Officer Hovingh’s family, friends and colleagues during this very difficult time.

We are happy to announce that we are open for the season on July 1st! Please check us out on AirBnB by clicking the Book Now button at the top of the page! We have limited accommodations open to respect physical distancing and we'll be closing each accommodation after each stay to ensure proper cleaning. To facility this cleaning schedule we'll be rotating which accommodations are available for bookings on AirBnB. Please let us know if you have any questions! Howdy partners! Welcome to the Kicking Mule Ranch Accommodations in Tehkummah on Manitoulin Island! The Ranch is under new ownership and we are excited about hosting you in our new favourite spot on beautiful Manitoulin Island. We offer bunkies, teepees and a covered wagon from June until October for camping. We are an off-grid facility relying on solar energy for our daily needs at the Ranch. Our ranch is pet friendly, and leashed dogs are welcomed in some accommodations (l...isted on our AirBnb listings). We are currently booking our sites through AirBnb - check us out at the "Book Now" button at the top of our page. We'll be opening up the calendar soon for reservations once we have our COVID-19 protocols in place. We are only 15 minutes from the Ferry docks in Southbay. We are 30 minutes from the Cup & Saucer trail, which is a great hiking opportunity! Bridal Veil Falls is only 40 minutes away - it's a must see! We're looking forward to hosting you at the Ranch!
