Here's the video done by Tourism Calgary. You'll see some familiar KIC dancers around the 7 second mark. These dances were all done at the Lake Bonavista Community Centre where a group of us dance every Sunday afternoon. YAHOO!!!!

Some of our members have been out randomly dancing during 2020 Spirit Calgary Stampede and have been included in this video. Darlene McKeage and Olunda Dorward are in this one around 1.25.

What a beautiful afternoon to spend some time line dancing at Silvera for Seniors to help with the celebration of seven residents turning 95. How wonderful for us to be able to entertain them as well as the rest of the residents & staff. A BIG birthday YAHOO to Bill, June, Jane, Nancy, Peggy, Val & Eileen. So delighted to be able to volunteer our time for this wonderful occasion.

CBC also came out to check out KIC's 2020 Stampede Spirit.

2020 Stampede may have been cancelled but the line dancing still goes on! We performed for the residents at Amica Britannia this afternoon and even though we kept our required social distancing, fun was had by all. YAHOO!!!

I'm delighted to announce that our Keepin' It Country Line Dance Club has just made a donation of $2,000 to the Veterans Association Food Bank. Thanks to all of our volunteers and members who make this type of donation possible. During this COVID-19 pandemic, we must all do what we can to stay safe and help out wherever possible.
