It is with incredible sadness to inform you of the sudden passing of our dear and extraordinary colleague, Lee Campbell. In August 2020, Lee celebrated his 13th anniversary with Kaplan. Over those thirteen years, Lee took on many different roles; student services, internship manager, and finally managing our very successful IELTS Test Centre. Lee’s passing will leave a huge void at Kaplan. His sense of humour combined with his professionalism was spectacular. We will all ch...erish all our memories of Lee at Kaplan. A big big congratulations to our student of the month.......Pierre . Pierre is a unique student. He started his Kaplan studies two months ago with eagerness and a drive to learn. Since then, he has been focused in class, has always completed his homework, and has participated actively in class discussions. Pierre has a keen sense of curiosity and always asks questions to further his understanding. Pierre has made excellent progress in all his English skills. He can now sp...eak fluently with Kaplan friends and Canadians he meets. His accuracy has also improved despite never having studied English in school before. Pierre is always ready to join K+ Clubs and afterschool activities with Cian. He has formed friendships with students from other countries, which allows him to speak English as much as possible. He engages in conversation with his homestay family and with strangers he meets in bars, on the street or even on the bus. Pierre is a great example of how the perfect Kaplan student should be. He has definitely earned the title of ‘Student of the Month’ and we have no doubt that he will continue to improve his English and achieve his dream of working in Canada.
