I was eager for our Music & Movement time, so I bought all kinds of cool accessories! While dancing to some Frozen the girls decided to try out the scarves.
Good afternoon everyone! Thought I would take some time while the little ones sleep, to share with you Pt. 2 of our Pumpkin/Fall Theme! We were lucky to have such nice weather, we went outside and stayed out as long as we could! The children were never bored. They were either playing with familiar toys, or finding new things to try out! ... Nova enjoyed using the microscope, she was amazed while looking at all the different Fall flowers we had! Thea and our new friend Leo loved sharing with each other! They raked the leaves, played with the balls, and even checked out the cars together! I see a great bond forming with the two of them
These past two weeks have been quite exciting for these two! They both finally have someone to connect with on their level, and grow an amazing bond. It's rewarding to see how much it has flourished already!
These two had an awesome nap on our walk this morning as you can see Lizzie isn't quite awake yet!
As the snow falls today, that means it's time to wrap up our Fall theme! The last two weeks we explored; pumpkins, gourds, life cycles, harvest, the farm and much more! All the children enjoyed this theme in their own unique way! It was great to see everyone always engaged in something that peaked their interest. Communication and language skills have improved tremendously amongst all the children as well! Along with developing new and more social skills. The families and I are very pleased! Here is Pt. 1 of the activities everyone was up to!
Excited for the day and putting this visual schedule to use!! #letsgo
After our wonderful Thanksgiving weekend, we are definitely thankful for today's beautiful weather. It was perfect to help us wean into this weeks theme! Any guesses what it could be?
Leafy trampoline!
Dramatic Play: Apple Orchard During our apple week, these trees were put up to allow children the experience of apple picking! Working on the Language and Literacy domain, we focused on the vocabulary around apples, their parts, their growth and harvest.
Our first meal with the crew I must say, I have a bunch of great eaters! They all enjoyed this meal; scrambled eggs with goat cheese, banana pancakes and fruit salad.
