KidHub is looking to add a fun, energetic and hardworking program staff member for our summer camp! Hours: 35-40 h/wk we are open 7:30- 5:30 Monday-Friday during the summer! Wages: Competitive and based on performance! Successful candidates will be: Actively pursuing a career in child care (either completed, working towards or planning to obtain an education in child care) Experience working with school-aged children in a school-age program/summer camp setting Able to take initiative and facilitate activities Hard-working, dedicated and committed to the success of the program Interested in continuing education in the field of child care Genuinely interested in working with elementary-school-aged children Able to encourage leadership skills, social skills and healthy eating habits in the children Looking for part-time employment Certified (or willing to obtain certification) in First Aid/CPR, Food Safety & School-Age Child Care Provider through the ECDA Willing to obtain a Criminal Record Check including the Vulnerable Sector Inquiry Fun, outgoing and an excellent addition to the KidHub Team! THIS COURSE IS NOW FULL Spring Babysitting Course: APRIL 16 9AM TO 3PM Designed for youth ages 11-15, this course teaches the skills necessary to care for infa...nts, toddlers and preschoolers. It emphasizes safety, dealing with emergencies, and first aid basics. Topics include Basic First Aid, Injury Prevention, Responsibilities of a Mature Babysitter, and hands-on practice will help build confidence. Course materials include a student activity book, a certificate suitable for framing, and a wallet-size certificate. Course price includes snack and pizza lunch. MASKS ARE MANDATORY 9am to 3pm (Town Hall)
