Do you ever say something and wish you could just suck it right back in? We all do. We may be parents and teachers but we are human too. Frustrated? Breathe. Excited? Breathe. Angry? Breathe. Words are powerful. I still remember when my French teacher called me a parrot when I could recite the verbs but couldn’t explain the conjugations. All jokes aside that was the end of my French career. Those words she likely doesn’t remember changed my life. I now see myself as bad at languages.
