This morning during creative art time, we were going one direction but the kids had other ideas We love their enthusiasm when their visions become real ps 30 minutes and they are still painting and chatting away

M and D were engaged in some big play with the tubes. While observing them we saw they needed more space so we moved the tables to give them more room. Tye and I had other plans for the morning but their play took on a life of its own. With just 3 today it was easy to let them have their big play. I love how versatile our new space is and that we are able to switch gears to follow the lead of the children

Today while our lil artists were creating they were having this conversation There are more planets than the sun There’s Jupiter Jupiter Jupiter is in the asteroid belt... Spaceship And Mars This is Saturn Also there’s Neptune That’s a bigger planet then the asteroid belt, more gassy Solar system There been a man in the moon It’s a giant spaceship grabbing rocks with it’s pinchers, from Neptune. They use the rocks for the gas. Children are so intelligent the joys of our job See more

Today we picked a carrot, beans and a lemon cucumber, L said cucumbers aren’t round so we discovered that yes they do come in different shapes. And did you know they have seeds in them

We have 2 full time spaces available for a 1-4 year old, starting September. Our hours are Monday to Friday 7-4

Look at this yummy cucumber the kids gobbled it up They’ve also been enjoying the strawberries straight from the plants. Next we will try the peas and see how they like them

Our little garden is growing like crazy, can’t wait to see if the littles enjoy eating it

Yesterday was mural day... We've been creating and decorating our classroom with a new mural each season and each one becomes my new favorite piece of art I will be printing photos and adding documentation to the mural ASAP for the children to see. Don't worry parents I'll send you all photos so you can see your childs work as well

In our garden today, our beans are getting tall, we have cucumbers coming along nicely, blueberries, beets, carrots, yellow zucchini, sweet potatoes, strawberries, rhubarb, a tomato plant and beautiful pink knockout roses We are blessed with a wonderful outdoor space

Exciting news the butterflies are coming out of their cacoons if they are moving around tomorrow we will try and get a video

Our caterpillars have become chrysalis’ now. It’s time to put them in their butterfly cage Hopefully some of the children will be with us when they come out

Our larva have eaten lots and became caterpillars quickly Now they are going into their cocoons R was able to see them spin today. It’s very exciting watching them change
