POW Translations Inc., on behalf of RWS Life Sciences is looking for children (ages of 7-17) and their parents facing childhood cancer to test the wording of tw...o questionnaires in Canadian English, French and Francophone. Participation will be a phone interview (approximately 1 hour in length for both children and adults) and any information gathered is limited to feedback as to whether or not the questions posed are well understood by the participants. These questionnaires will subsequently be used as part of clinical trials. No personal information will be gathered other than basic contact information. Participants will be compensated $200 (per parent/child pair) for their time. If interested, please email POW directly at [email protected] for more information. Please mention Childcan when applying. This project will be taking place over the next five months and participants will be accepted on a rolling basis. However, please apply as soon as possible to be considered. POW Translations Inc. is a Canadian translation company that specializes in linguistic validation, clinician recruiting and cognitive debriefing in the life sciences field.

We have some amazing partners who organize some incredible events to raise money for the kids. Douvris Bank Street HQ: Martial Arts, Karate, Kickboxing and Bernardo Karate are bringing it in the month of March! They have organized special classes, for a donation, each Sunday during March. All proceeds will go to Kids Kicking Cancer Canada. March 7th's class is "1,000 Super Hero Kicks". Our goal is to raise as much money as we can to help s...upport the programs of Kids Kicking Cancer, which help children facing serious health challenges all over the world, reduce their pain. We do this through martial arts therapy.
