Arrival of my Hapkido package. Many long hours at the club working on getting the curriculum up to standard but as the sign says "everyone is created equal it's how hard we reach for something that defines us." Those that know me know I have pushed my self in the martial art industry(client and instructor)for about 30 years all together now. I would like to personal thank GM Hee Kwan Lee Nim, for his kindness, generosity, support, and hard work on behalf of GHA, which is an a...mazing group. Him and this group are a class act, creating amazing Hapkido books and seminars. A breath of fresh air from the politics and toxicity of some of the ITF I had been use to. Even still I purposely chose waiting a day more from my original finishing of submission videos to not have my Hapkido black belt coincide with Taekwon-do's birthday. *My Belt shown is my Taekwon-do belt, I am only a 1st dan in Hapkido*

Some good tournament fighting that every can learn a bit of concepts from. This is the older days of fighting before it was made a bit more safe for all and is black belt division so don’t be scared by this.

Great week of private testings before government restrictions. Congratulations to all our 12 new Hydra Martial Art promotions. You all did us proud. We have another 12 or so to go early next year whether zoom or in person depending on government regulations at that time. Everyone keep up your hard work!

Things are tough in the martial art industry for a lot of us right now, but thankful this coming American thanksgiving weekend we have a nice full time access location... things could be worse I could be a 1st dan fighting this guy again as my welcome to black belt at the western Canadian championship in 2004/5...Apparently he was a light weight that day..

Excited about all the signs of how well we are doing... More families doing class together then we have ever had, more teens wanting to assist in the kids class(after covid)then ever, and a big push towards an industry award.... Thanks to our amazing members for everything. Honestly you all rock!

Join us for Weekly Ninja Summer Camps (July-August) Regular Camp hours are 9:00 am- 3:00 pm Monday-Friday for $100 + $5 non-refundable place holding and admin f...ee. No prior martial arts experience required. Suitable for children aged 5 years old and up. The camps incorporate fun activities where children make new friends, play games, do arts and crafts, be physically active, learn self defense, discipline, self control and how to build a more peaceful world. For a fun and exciting way to show off all they learned Campers will get to create and star in a homemade ninja movie!
