Normally scheduled for June, I've moved this annual contest up a couple of months. As a Dad with 4 young boys getting a little restless at home, I wanted to of...fer something fun for people to do independently or as a family. I hope that this provides you and your loved ones a creative outlet and lots of enjoyment. To enter, simply post an image of your creation in the comment section below. The image with the most "likes" will receive a $100 dollar gift card to the LEGO store. In addition, all entries will be entered to win a separate $100 gift card to the LEGO store via a random draw. The entry deadline is midnight on April 30th. The winners' names will be posted in the comments section below on May 1st. To claim their prize, winners are asked to email Casey Duncan at [email protected] so that arrangements for prize delivery can be made. This contest is open to builders of all ages. Builders must be residents of BC and only one entry is permitted per person. Good luck to all who enter and happy building everyone!

I hope you are all managing during this extremely challenging time and you moms and dads are able to stay sane! I know all the programs your kids normally attend are no longer happening and wanted to address future programming for Kidz Construction Crew. The situation in our home is that 5 of the 6 people living in our home are immune compromised and we are waiting for tests (when it is safe to do so) for one of my kids to be tested for an autoimmune disease. In light of th...is, I will not be able to do classes in my home until it is safe to do so but........ I have been chatting with a friend who runs much of her business online and am in the process of developing programming that you can access from the comfort of your home! I am excited about the possibilities of this and will keep you updated and will contact you as soon as I am ready to launch. I will be using programs such as ZOOM, FB and other online programs to help me give a full range of exciting and interesting topics, videos and private appointments with those who would like to stay involved with Kidz Construction Crew. If you have topics, ideas or suggestions for things to see in this new launch, please let me know! I am open to ideas! I also have quite a bit of experience as a teaching assistant and have often helped students to adapt curriculum to help them produce the work they need to for school assignments. Now that we are all homeschooling for the foreseeable future, I will also be offering consulting services for families who need this type of assistance with their children's educational needs. This will be billed, most likely, on a donation for service protocol. I know that finances will be difficult for some. Although this has been an extremely difficult decision to make, I believe it is in our best interest to follow government and health official guidelines to self-isolate as much as possible. I am creating private groups on this page for those who want to be involved and you will only have access to these groups with subscriptions. Stay safe and take care of each other

Hello to all my young LEGO enthusiasts (no matter your actual age)! It has been a strange year so far and some of you are probably wondering what we are doing for classes. I run 5 classes a week out of my home and one of my students suggested that each child build a world of their choice which we all put together at the end. This is the amazing result of that project! It took about 2 weeks for all builds to be completed and they are all original MOC's (my own creation). Students range in age from 6 to 12 years. Great job everyone!
