#Film making in our land...

Hello my dear #friends and family (in #Canada) -- Starting Dec/16th - until Dec/31st, our film El Suspiro del Silencio (The Whisper of Silence) will begin to be shown on the #digital #platform of the #Whistler #Film #Festival: https://www.facebook.com/events/665554767297128 It is a #film in #Spanish with English subtitles, 93 minutes long. The film speaks about two themes primarily, the first one is about a #coffee-picker in #Latin #America that eventually, due to her inc...redible sense of smell, becomes a top cupper (a #coffee taster) in coffee competitions the other theme, and the number one reason we made this film is: violence against women. This is an issue, the more than ever, continues to grow. We strongly believe that the issue of violence against women, its brutality, be it sexual, mental and/or physiological, is cruel, unjust and no woman that has suffered any level of abuse deserves it and the world needs to fight back against it with everything we can. Our film is not about any specific place, sure, Spanish is spoken throughout the film but, the issue is #global so, we did not want to pinpoint a specific place. Yes, the film was shot in the beautiful mountains of El Salvador, with 90% of Salvadorian crew and actors and we applaud El Salvador, Central America and Latin America for its hard work towards ending this huge problem.
