I realize I have been very quiet on the doggy side of life. Here is what I have not been up to...Maia’s people at Outfox Tollers have taken the reins completely with her last litter. Kijabewinds is in shall we say semi-retirement? No firm breeding plans. We have a few boys we may put out there for other breeders to use at stud but as for girls and having litters, we are lying low for now.

To clarify, the lump was not IN her belly it was ON her belly. This was the irritation it caused. It came from some form of plant material that literally ‘got under her skin’.

Being her normal silly self. Results are in, she had a suspicious lump removed from her belly. It had been reduced with antibiotics and anti-inflammatories but we had it excised as well a fragment of plant foreign material (the tshirt is to keep the incision clean and she seems to like it!)

Aero and I went for a lovely hike at forbidden plateau, Paradise Meadows. They are warning that dogs may be banned because some dumdums don’t think they are part of the problem.
