The Ex-Perfectionist 17.05.2021

I spent the first quarter CENTURY of my like pretending to be perfect. Living amongst chaos at home, I tried my very best to always put on a brave "I'VE GOT MY SHIT TOGETHER" demeanour to the outside world, and it served me SO very well... Praise and admiration from others... Job opportunities and free stuff Modeling gigs + media roles Until, of course - it didn't... Loss of my purpose & my own personal likes/dislikes Health challenges like IBS, acne & losing my period An inability to create wealth & support myself because I was so burnt out Just a few short 24 months or so ago, I turned it all around, and the very first step was becoming an EX-perfectionist. I had to let go of the need to please, be superior in everything and anything, and ultimately accept the reality that my peace & happiness must come before anything (or anyone) else. While ex-perfectionist living is pretty darn perfect once you get the hang of it, I acknowledge that it can be scary & totally unappealing at first. JUST KNOW THIS: you CAN be perfect (*spoiler alert: you already are!) without TRYING to be perfect. I say it all the time: you can't want a should. If you struggle with perfectionist eating habits (cue: only eats biodynamic farm-fresh salads OR finds herself sneaking in a box of oreo cookies late at night when no one is looking) - know that you CAN turn things around. The reason I am such a good coach in this regard is because I LIVED it long and hard. It's time you free yourself from yourself. May I help you find peace in ex-perfectionist eating & living? Book a call with me today if you want a taste for yourself xoxo See more

My past includes bits & pieces of me "finding" myself. In fact, I was never really "finding" anything, but rather it was a journey of releasing my perfection, letting go of my need to please, and surrendering to the reality that everything is already working out in my favour - I don't have to "try", "want", or "strive". This led me down a much more PEACEFUL journey with entrepreneurship, which I now treasure & actually ENJOY today. For th...ose of you on your journey in personal & professional development, I hope my truth can bring light to your path NOW. "This is weird." I said to my partner, as we enjoyed the calm oasis at a cenote yesterday. "...I actually don't feel the need to 'SAVOUR' this beautiful moment of bliss...as if it's about to expire." He looked at me with a gentle glance of understanding.... See, if I was experiencing the heaven that I got a taste of on Sunday a few years back, I would have felt this urgent need to 'SOAK IT IN FOR ALL ITS WORTH BECAUSE MOMENTS LIKE THIS ARE RARE AND SOON I'LL REVERT BACK TO REALITY'. Now, I certainly embrace and and am present to these gorgeous moments - but without fear that they will soon end, or that they may not happen again. I realize that I consciously create my current reality, and that my abundance mindset means that there are only an abundant more beautiful moments like this (or better) still in store for me. My opening up an ABUNDANCE of CHOICE in all foods, I learned how to adopt an ABUNDANCE mindset in all walks of life - well beyond food. If you're currently struggling with a deprivation mindset (in food or otherwise) - let's get you back to the abundant way of thinking you were born to operate in. Book a call with me today & it would be my pleasure to share the strategies that helped me - and FAST. ENJOY IT DARLING - but also, know that even more enjoyment is always on the way xoxo See more

The temptation to eat AND work is real. It's so convenient, so efficient, so norm. But I'm done with that phase of my life now, done with the DOING and now I'm living in the BEING.... I am allowed to close my laptop, take a deep breath, and enjoy my meal mindfully. No multi-tasking. No rushing. Just abundance of pleasure in my body - always. There's no need to ignore your feelings when you feel good. How do you feel? Rushed, stuck, uncomfortable? Food won't fix it my dear. Not even the healthiest "superfood" out there. Take a deep breath, feel your feelings, and give yourself permission to pause. Permission to feel. Permission to do what it is you need to make you FEEL good. If nothing else: PLEASE DARLING STOP WHATEVER ELSE YOU'RE DOING BEFORE EATING AND JUST. EAT. THAT'S IT! The benefits may surprise you... Want to work through the exact same 6-week process that healed me from my out-of-order eating and allowed me to find true comfort in my body? Wasn’t sure if I should post this picture. Then I realized I stopped living my life by shoulds. I do what I want. I eat what I want. I share and speak my truth. Right now I’m living TRUTHFULLY in love. By opening up total choice of all eating, my innate gut wisdom had a chance to resurface. Not only did I discover my love (& joyful digestion) of all foods. I realized I wanted more adventure. More romance. More freedom.... That’s now my truth. My reality. If you’re ready to hear and understand the little voice inside of you, freeing yourself of constant thinking about eating, not eating, what to eat vs not eat etc etc etc is a KEY first step. That’s my zone of genius. Book your call and discover your life with NO MORE THINKING ABOUT FOOD today. Link in bio xoxo See more
