Dang it my nipples are frozen
Remember the story about Mowgli our outdoor cat we’ve had for 6 years, was gone across the street for 3, seen twice in the last 18 months, has been coming around the past few days, and came inside from the cold. Very comfortable for now
The chickens are not happy! Even though I shovelled them a big trench and cleared off their feeding station they still don’t want to go outside. So it looks like it’s another big barn party today
Sorry folks, we unfortunately have to raise our prices cost of food and upkeep is going up and up $6 a dozen as of 2022. Sorry!
Kris very proud of the Kitty Condo she built for the outdoor cats. Being so cold, and this might be the new normal for winters, she insulated a bin and we will put a heated mat in it as well. Don’t scratch it up cats!
Going crazy trying to keep things warm at the farm. Water buckets frozen, feeders frozen, trying to keep the outdoor cats and warm. Put a heating pad in the cat crate for them. Weather, Hurry up and warm up!

Five colours of eggs in one nesting box
Yes we still have a farm! Yes we still have chickens! Everyone is doing great and healthy and muddy. Been so long since I last posted but I just wanted to let everyone know that everything is going well. ... The chickens are doing great and the brown chickens are laying almost 3 dozen eggs a day. The leghorns just started laying today - here is one of the first eggs.
