But, people who are most at risk will get the vaccine first. Manitoba follows guidelines from the Government of Canada’s National Advisory Committee on Immunization (NACI), and then adapts that to our province with medical expertise and public health data. When it’s your turn, don’t forget to bring a signed consent form and other items from the checklist of things to bring with you (pdf) to your appointment. You can make a vaccine appointment if you are: 57 years of age and older (NEW: expanded from age 59) 37 years of age and older for First Nation people (NEW: expanded from age 39) individuals aged 18 or older are eligible to be immunized if they work in these settings, regardless of profession or role: acute care facilities; COVID-19 immunization clinics, testing sites, or alternative isolation accommodations facilities; licensed personal care homes; congregate living facilities, including addictions treatment, supportive housing, assisted living, seniors living, elderly housing, group homes and provincial or federal correctional facilities; emergency (medical/paramedical) response services and patient transfer, outpatient health-care settings, including all types of outpatient health care clinics such as: diagnostic imaging, laboratories, blood donor centres, surgical centres, elderly day programs and home based care. congregate group care settings such as homeless shelters, family violence shelters, emergency placement shelters and second stage housing; congregate group care settings in Community Living disABILITY Services or the child and family services sector (Manitoba Families is identifying eligible staff and contact them directly to schedule appointments); home-care workers employed by a regional health authority (RHA), a RHA-contracted service provider, or a self- and family-managed care client; or laboratories which handle COVID-19 specimens.

Drat! I hate it when the province changes the vaccine age on a Wednesday. Had already sent the paper to be printed... and while I put the age was 64 and over, now it is 62 and over! That is good though... make an appointment at 1-844-626-8222, all you eligible Manitobans.
