Just hanging out with the Trophy Wife waiting for the Cafe to open #killdeerbeachresort #sadisover , I guess this lovely couple never got the message , Killdeer beach is not open till May first and the Cafe will be open Friday’s from 5 to 7 pm until May long weekend then back to weekend hrs , Friday night , Saturday and probs Sunday Morning .

There isn’t much fly fishing on LacLaNonne lake but nothing is stopping you from practicing at #killdeerbeachresort while waiting for summer #sadisover

At Killdeer we don’t need to worry about booking sites ,waiting on line , participating in the spring booking scramble is not required , you are booked . Also not required , the risk of a crazy Italian family being in the same campground as us , whoops that second statement could be misconstrued as accurate but it’s not , definitely Italians in the Park , but the average family of Italian descent is relatively normal, just ours aren’t , JK , we are all different , everyone is essential, valued and important to our summer community , camping , boating , fishing are good , our people make it great . Karen is a great Lady and long time KilldeerBeach Resident who is married to Randy , she is obviously accustomed to risk we were concerned about her safety with the large trees right behind their camper , and I guess we care somewhat for Randy as well , debatable . #killdeerbeachresort #sadisover BTW we moved their RV , Randy wasn’t sure if it wasn’t better to leave it in the way he said it may be time for a change , RV’s not Karen I’m thinking , Karen’s a keeper .

It’s Sunday and currently we are not permited to invite cold icefishing and skating souls into our home and have a warmup , or have a Party with them out side , but we can have a fire close to the rink and extremely and completely outside , just warming up the very open air in the yacht club so we won’t add to the tally , any exposure and hypothermia deaths and hospitalizations this Sunday . #sadisover if we find you lonely and incoherent on the lake we will mask up suit up and prop you up next this fire and monitor your condition through the window of our house till you perk up and are able to drive home safely have a great Sunday and breath in some cool air , it will do you a bunch of good . New Years Day very busy at the lake , lots of people fishing some skating , including a former Soviet Scientist in Witness protection , and a storm trooper from Star Wars , a great way to start a new year , #killdeerbeachresort #sadisover

Some may say you must not be busy if you have time to build a skating rink , I would say get your Butt off the farm grab the Kids and go for a skate my friend , at the second to almost every other skating rink in Alberta . #killdeerbeachresort #sadisover

The Trophy wife and I attempted a mobile fireworks across the lake , we will maybe get the timing and distance a little more refined next year , Happy New Year and God Bless us all in 2021 .

Today was good , we had warming up at the fire , skating , ice fishing , all done while respecting each other and their space , it reminds me how important the small and simple things are , I took this little Video and added Song for Rich Michael W Smith I think the video and music say volumes in a very straightforward simpleway . We are working on a hard water shack to make available for our Killdeer Beach community , and just so you know I can barely spell fishing and I’m not very good at it , we will provide a warm place to shelter , you need to provide your own fishing skills , second pic shows that the ice about 6 to 7 inches , hope we will have our ice fishing shack out and ready for use by mid dec , depends on the ice and the weather , and no there is no cost to our people , you can donate a little for firewood if you want , even that’s not required , you will need to reserve , we will see how it pans out my friends God Bless #killdeerbeachresort #sadisover
