This is a very interesting video. Soke Sensei speaks of some very important aspect of Chito Ryu karate. He speaks of his father O Sensei Chitose and how Chito Ryu was created and what styles of karate influenced Chito Ryu. For all members of the Chito Ryu style it is well worth watching.

Well Happy New Year everyone. Killick Coast karate will be starting their winter classes on Jan 8 at the Flatrock Community Center on Wind Gap Rd. Classes will continue to be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. New Students welcomed!!!!!! Class times and registration fees are listed below:... 6:00-7:00pm: Beginner class (ages 5-7)------------- $235 per semester 7:00-8:00pm: experience youth class (ages 7-12) -------- $235 per semester 8:00-9:30pm Teen/Adult class (ages 12-18) ------------ $260 per semester (ages 19+) ---------------$285 per semester Old and young, new and experienced students welcome. Killick Coast Karate is excited to announce that we will be re-opening in January 2021. Killick Coast Karate we also be adding a new assistant instructor, Christopher Coady, to assist us in developing and strengthening our kumite training. Chris is a past member of the Karate NL provincial team as well as past member of Team Canada. He is a multiple Canadian National kumite champion. Has represented Team Canada at multiple junior and senior Pan Americian Championships, and has even been part of Team Canada at the World Championships. Chris's list of accolades is quite long and impressive. We here at Killick Coast look forward to learning and advancing from his knowledge, dedication to the sport and experiences. Welcome Chris!

Killick Coast Karate will start classes on Sept. 10th. Training will take place at the Flatrock Community Center on Tuesday and Thursday nights Ages 5-7: 6-7 pm and cost is $235/semester... Ages 8-11: 7-8 pm and cost is $235/semester Ages 12 and up: 8-9:30 pm cost for kids 12-18 is $260/semester, cost for adults is $285/semester.
