What a year for Real Estate Sales, it has been interesting and a real seller's market, I can absolutely verify that. Many of my buyers have had to offer on 2-4 homes before being successful and beating the competition. For Sellers, well it has been great, Price increases hitting double Digits in most d...istricts, Days on the Market dropping significantly. Have a look at some of these stats. All HALIFAX county in Green, then 3 districts to compare, Bedford, Colby, and Lower Sackville. Showing on Average Halifax County is up 9.3% on average house pricing. That is the biggest increase since 2003 ( CMHC STATS ), and Days for Sale has dropped significantly, with homes selling in days usually when priced properly.
