Spode Woodman was first introduced in 1816. It is an underglaze print from a hand engraved copper plate. The central scene shows a woodman leaning on his axe addressing a woman sitting with a child on her lap. The slight scalloped border features flowers and foliage in white against blue. 10 1/2 dinner plate. In the 1990s, Woodman was reintroduced as part of the Blue Room Georgian Collection. SOLD. A stunning antique 10 1/2 dinner plate in the "Camilla" design by Copeland Spode circa 1920’s. Camilla was originally introduced in 1833. The decorative blue & white design features an ornate patterned border with a singular floral motif to the centre. The central spray is thought to be of the the tea plant, camilla sinensis, from which the pattern may have derived its name. The engraved border features Italian renaissance scroll motifs in blue on a classic white ...body and scalloped trim. Spode Camilla Blue is no longer produced having been discontinued in the 1950's. Camilla remains one of Spode's most popular designs. No chips, cracks or crazing. Minor central surface wear consistent with age and use. $45. Smoke free, porch pick up Barrhaven Nepean.

Saltimbocca Alla Romana Saltimbocca literally translates from Italian to Jump in the mouth! It is an ancient Roman dish consisting of thin veal cutlets, @share_mastro prosciutto and fresh sage leaves. It is rolled up, secured with a toothpick and sautéed in a dry white wine and @lactantia butter. I added some @castellocheesecanada Fontina cheese for that extra jump in the mouth flavour. This is a quick, delicious and elegant meal that would be perfect to serve for New Year’s. (Recipe in profile link).
