Back to work on the Lancaster. Butt plate showed up last week. What a mess, asymetrical, bent and crooked with DEEP pits.... the difference between sand and investment cast I guess. another work day... made some pen blanks and a new spokeshave body as the one i have now is off on the angles and sucks... this one cuts real nice andis made from some birdseye maple and an ebony wear plate.... should be sweet. :)
