My dog Leo and I are just back from our walk. We're listening to all the birds, it’s a busy time for them. They were my inspiration for this piece which was created for the From My Window design challenge happening on Spoonflower this week. If you want to help me out, the voting starts today: https://www.spoonflower.com/design-challenge/from-my-window
Due to its immense popularity, we have just released a 2nd edition of "Granny's Giant Bannock" for a new generation of readers. Originally published in 2008, this book was short-listed for the Manitoba Book Awards 2009 (McNally Robinson Book for Young People Award Younger Category). This new edition contains the same delightful story with some small updates to the original illustrations. You can order your copy here on Amazon: https://tinyurl.com/vj9bxfu8

My Patchwork design for this week's challenge on Spoonflower. It has a bit of a spring theme to it with the colours and the flowers...maybe that’s wishful thinking on my part.... If you are interested in seeing all the designs here is the link: https://www.spoonflower.com/design-challenge/patchwork There are 1114 entries in this one...
Celebrating 2021 "The Year of the Ox". This design was created for the current challenge on Spoonflower. I really enjoyed creating this piece. The oxen were painted on the iPad Pro in Procreate. This month I am participating in Spoonflower's Design Challenges. This is my design for the "Snail Mail Design Challenge" which starts today. To view the other entries and to vote for your favourites, click on this link: https://www.spoonflower.com/design-challenge/snail-mail It's been really interesting seeing what everyone comes up with for these challenges. For me this particular subject reminded me of Grandma who was always a great sender of cards & an awesome letter writer.
My current entry in this week’s Spoonflower reimagined damask design challenge. My inspiration for this design was of course my faithful companion, Leo. As a credit, I have included him in my mock-ups. The golden retriever originated in Scotland and so I have combined the golden retriever with the thistle to create this damask pattern. To see the other entries and to vote for this design please follow the link below:... https://www.spoonflower.com/des/reimagined-damask-wallpaper
Here is my latest design, and my final Spoonflower Design Challenge for 2020. The winning artwork from this challenge will be featured on Spoonflower's packaging (which would be really cool). Thank you all for taking the time to vote each week for my Spoonflower Challenges. Today we have all achieved something, as I found out that my Create Spacedesign placed 13th out of 900 designs. I am so happy! Thanks for your continued support!
Today's design challenge with Spoonflower is to create a wallpaper design for a crafter's "DreamBox" by CreateRoom. If you don't know what a "DreamBox" is, you should look it up...it's quite a storage unit/workspace for the "creative-type" and it's also quite expensive. If I win this challenge... I could own one! If you want to read more about this challenge & vote for your favourites you can do so here: https://www.spoonflower.com/design-challenge/create-room Thanks for your continued support!
Here we are, Thursday once again... and another Spoonflower Design Challenge. The challenge for this week is called "Microscopic World". My design features some adorable little flower fairies that I believe would make a perfect print for juvenile bedding, apparel and stationery designs. To see the other designs & cast your vote click on this link: https://www.spoonflower.com/design-challenge... Thanks for your continued support!
