I'm so proud of a complete stranger for setting boundaries! Through my own healing, I am learning how to really implement boundaries. Today, witnessing someone else set their boundaries towards me left me feeling so proud of both of us.... He voiced his feelings and made the decision to not give his energy or time to me because he felt I was not respecting him. Usually I would feel bad about being misunderstood. It would be on my mind for days, sometimes weeks. I would want to explain where I was coming from and how he misunderstood me. That I'm not a mean or disrespectful person. But today, I was proud of such a beautiful display of boundaries, and I didn't take it personally. I respected him. Even though its not the start of the day, let's write 5 things we are proud of ourselves for. I'll start: I am proud of myself for finding strength within myself I didn't know was there. I used to be so shy and insecure but I have been through a lot to make me the strong confident person I am today.... I am proud of my connection with Spirit. I was lost before my connection and I knew this was something I wanted to do, so I worked hard and created a beautiful relationship with Spirit. I have said it before and I will say it again, my connection with spirit saved my life. I am proud of myself for being a kick ass Mom. I always joke I never knew how hard parenting was and its the truth. I yell and give my kids shit, but I also listen to them, validate them and love them like no other. Life with these kids is a constant roller coaster but I am so proud that 3 crazy kids call me Mom. I am proud of the success of my business. I put the work in everyday, it's all me but I did it! I am doing it! I am so thankful for all of my clients and students. I am humbled and so thankful. I am proud that I know I am a work in progress. I hurt, I fail, I cry but I have learned to accept that about myself. I know I am not perfect and never will be. I also know I work on being the best version of myself everyday. I like the person I see in the mirror and it took many years for me to be able to day that. So many things to be grateful for! I took some time to really sit in the feelings of gratitude today. Thinking of moments that made me smile.... Moments that made me laugh out loud.
