Thank you to all my friends and supporters who helped me choose a book cover for Smile Again! It was very challenging because I loved all the options. The majority liked the flower growing through the crack in the ground. I went with that one because I thought it best symbolized what the book is about...beauty emerging from unsuspecting places. We are now a solid 8 months into this. If you are not working/not getting a paycheck/struggling to make ends meet and run out of food or necessities...please do...n’t let yourself or your kids go to sleep with an empty stomach. Christmas is fast approaching and if you need help, please don’t be afraid or embarrassed to message me. I will drop groceries at your door and go. No one will ever know and I will pretend it never happened. Everyone has been in a tough position at some point in their life, especially me. .... Here it is! I received the first copy of my next book from my publisher! It's only a proof, and I made a few changes to send back, but I think the book co...ver is symbolic of the content. Thank you Penelope Ball for capturing the sentiment through your art.... We can rise through anything, and we can always 'Smile Again'!! Feeling tiny tonight with my 18 and 16 year old nephews! Love you guys and our family dinners!! I'm even standing on my toes!

.....And she's off to support our community to deliver Meals On Wheels..... they love it when they see Jesse's bright welcoming smile at their door! One of her favourite things to do, along with dog walking at the SPCA.

It is a beautiful day to celebrate the birthday of this spectacular woman.... my mom!! Im so blessed to have one of the best a child can have!! Her uncon...ditional love and wisdom has sure helped navigate me through this wonderful crazy life! Probably one of the most valuable life lessons I have ever learned came from her, ' There is no such word as can't'. Those 7 words broke plenty of barriers for me. Many things I've been able to do because of all she has taught me. I'm just so grateful and full of love See more

Happy Father's Day to all you wonderful dads! I was blessed to have my amazing dad for only 59 years, but I am grateful to have him that long and learn so much.... He had a tough start.... leaving home at 15 years old, but end up building a beautiful life for my mom, brother and me. Much of my strength, determination, compassion, and yes, even stubbornness came from him. I am fortunate to feel and see how he lives on in my own children. Jesse just loved him to pieces, and although he died when Avery was only a few weeks old, it is interesting to see how they are a mirror image. Patrick Joseph Kelly See more

Very special day!!! Most of you know how often I find Four leaf clovers, but today was extra special! On my walk with Jesse and Murphy I said out loud, "Happy F...ather's Day Dad." Then I said, "If you heard me Dad, give me a sign." Well about 15 seconds later, as I'm walking down the path, I looked down and this is what I saw. It's just the best thing ever!!! See more
