Kindness. It matters.

Fascia is a thin casing of connective tissue that surrounds and holds every organ, blood vessel, bone, nerve fiber, and muscle in place. When stressed, it tightens up and can limit mobility and cause painful knots to develop.

Getting a massage is truly out of this world, right?!

Deep tissue massages use firm pressure to tackle those deep aches and pains you may be experiencing. They work wonders for those looking to treat muscle pain from current or past injuries or for those looking to improve muscle stiffness and range of motion.

Massage therapy has been shown to help lower both your blood pressure and heart rate. By dilating your blood vessels, massage therapy can improve your blood circulation.

Did you know that nearly 80% of people will deal with lower back pain at some point in their life? If lower back pain is stopping you from living your best life, try massage therapy! Massage therapy may help increase your blood and lymph flow, that brings down inflammation and allows you to relax your muscles and ease stress on your lower back.

If you’re dealing with muscle tension or spasms, try a massage. Massage therapy helps reduce muscle tension and spasming by relieving pressure on joints and muscles that cause you to tighten up.

Hello everyone, Due to the most recent COVID-19 press release with Dr. Janice Fitzgerald this evening, I am now mandated to close as we are now in Alert Level 5 once again. Hopefully this will be relatively short lived and we can go back to at least Alert Level 3 so it will allow me to reopen sooner than it was last spring. I will be in contact with those who had an appointment cancelled once I get a better idea of when I'm allowed to reopen again.... Stay safe and healthy! We will get through this!

Communication is key. When it comes time for your massage appointment, it’s important to communicate before and during with your massage therapist. Let your massage therapist know of any ailments or issues you’re dealing with in order to make the most of your massage.

DIY Relaxation Technique for Anxiety: If you find yourself feeling anxious, try this technique. Wiggle your shoulders to release tension. Then slowly and deeply breathe in through your nose. Hold for 3 seconds and slowly exhale through your mouth. Repeat as needed.

DIY Massage for Eye Strain: Staring at a computer all day can leave your eyes tired and strained. Use this technique to relieve eye strain. Briskly rub your hands together until they begin to warm. Place the palms of your hands over each eye, letting the heat sooth them. Repeat as necessary.
