This is my home gym. It doesn’t take up a lot of space, but man, does it get the job done! All it takes is my tablet and +/-30 minutes a day. I’ve added a few sets of weights, bands, a step, a ball, a door track, and a mat. Heck, I don’t even need all of that equipment I started out with just bodyweight and a mat and acquired the rest of it a bit at a time. It’s simple, really. Not easy, but simple.... If you want more: energy, strength, mobility, flexibility, and vitality; and if you want less: weight, aches and pains, sitting on the sidelines because you can’t participate, menopausal symptoms, and age-related ailments ...then just start. Move your body. Get your own home gym/space. (I can help you with that) Get an accountability partner. (I can help you with that) Improve your nutrition. (I can help you with that) You don’t have to do it all at once, but you need to start. Send me a DM if you need help with any of the above, or visit my website to explore the options I can offer and the resources I have available for free. . . . #homeworkout #homeworkouts #homefitness #homegym #moveyourbody #menopausehealth #genxwomen #genxhealthandfitness #energy #strength #mobility #flexibility #simple #nutrition #nutritioncoach #fitness #fitnesscoach #accountabilitycoach #ottawa

Having pets can:... help to lower your blood pressure help you to live longer boost your mood and lower your cortisol level Amazing, right? This week I posted a bit about the importance of having someone in your corner to help keep you motivated and accountable, and to prop you up when you need it. I love it when people tell me they have an accountability buddy who helps to keep them going, even on the days they don't feel like it. An accountability buddy can be someone you exercise with and talk to face-to-face, or it can be someone you check in with over text or Zoom... and just knowing you'll be chatting with ...them once a week can be enough to keep you on track. If you're looking around and find you don't have much of a support network, then here's the best advice I can give you: Even if you have to hire somebody to be that person, find SOMEONE who will support you in your goals. Find someone who you like and trust... I'm not saying that person has to be me (but it certainly can be! Click the link to check out my program, Your Online Accountability Partner: https://www.kimberleymartin.ca/your-online-accountability-p), but just find someone who will help you reach those health and fitness goals you set for yourself. We achieve more when we have people to help us. . . . #accountabilitypartner #accountabilitybuddy #accountabilitycoach #inyourcorner #genxwomen #genxhealth #menopausehealth #healthandfitnessgoals
