A granite pet memorial and a concrete pet memorial.

Some recent river rock memorials. One of the stones was created for multiple pets passed through previous years.

This memorial is 9" x 12" x 1" thick granite. Took about 8 hours to complete. This is all sand blasted, no lasers are involved. The photos are achieved by using a halftone process meaning they are made up of dots. The darker areas contain many dots whereas the lighter areas contain little to no dots. Any space between the dots is what is sand blasted.

I so appreciate when someone takes the time to send me a quick note after they've received their memorial. It touches my heart to know that I'm helping others in my own special little way. My dog Fidgen seems to have a throw pillow fetish. He carries them through the house all of the time, greets us at the door with one and his latest thing is to bring one into the kitchen and sit on it.

Pet Memorial Garden Stones & Pet Burial Markers

This rustic flagstone pet memorial is sandcarved and colour filled with silver monument grade paint then the entire stone is treated with linseed oil.

A very talented friend of mine that creates custom glass signs and mirrors http://www.customglasssigns.com/index.html did a pet memorial on a mirror recently. I've never really done anything on mirror before but I was inspired by the one that Roderick did and decided to make one for my dog Shelby that passed away earlier this year. This mirror is 19" x 23", blasted from the back and colour filled. Where the photo is located, the paint and silvering was removed for a clear window.
